Brian is currently an audio mixer at Universal Pictures. He mixes TV Commercials and Trailers for Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Legendary Pictures, and Universal Home Distribution. His mixes have been broadcast to millions of TVs all over the globe, including several Super Bowls. He consistently produces high caliber, detailed mixes under tight deadlines. 
Previously, Brian was an audio mixer at Picture Head in Hollywood, CA. He mixed TV and Radio commercials for Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, and Marvel. Notable movie campaigns include: The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Tron: Legacy, Cars 2, and many more.
Before moving to LA, Brian was at Chicago-based Spank! Music and Sound Design, a commercial music house. Highlights from his career include a 2008 Super Bowl spot featuring Will Ferrell, as well as music and sound design featured on network TV shows. At Spank!, Brian was responsible for music recording/mixing, sound design, editing, recording/producing VO, and working with very demanding advertising clients. The fast-paced, diverse musical environment provided the perfect canvas to hone his mixing skills.
Brian’s finely-tuned ears began with an intense classical and jazz background. He turned the knobs at the Aspen Music Festival while recording icons such as Renee Fleming, Lang Lang, Emerson String Quartet, Gil Shaham, and many more. After moving to Chicago, Brian started recording local Indie Rock, Pop, World, and R&B groups expanding his palette of genres.
Before engineering full-time, Brian was an artist liaison at Chicago Symphony Center, Brian aided artists such as Ravi Shankar, Wynton Marsalis w/ LCJO, Keith Jarrett, Itzhak Pearlman, Brad Mehldau Trio, John Scofield, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones and many others.
Brian studied music engineering at DePaul University, under the tutelage of heavily caffeinated professor Tom Miller. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sound Recording Technology and a minor in physics.
